PREMISE

Accessibility is not one universal mode. A workflow may be technically conformant and still fail because of language, device sharing, noise, privacy, cognitive load, or the physical conditions of use.

Which devices and assistive tools are actually available?
Can a person understand uncertainty and recover from an error?
Does the task require private audio, a large screen, or sustained attention?
Who is excluded by the default input and output mode?

EVIDENCE SIGNALS

What good evidence looks like

The complete task works with keyboard and screen reader paths.
Plain-language states explain uncertainty and recovery.
Alternate input and output paths preserve the same authority.

FAILURE MODES

What can disappear

An alternate mode omits evidence or approval controls.
Shared devices expose private work.
A person cannot identify or recover from an AI error.
